Day 1: Arrival Chennai
Meet and greet on arrive at Airport / Railway Station Chennai. Pick up and proceed to hotel. Check into the hotel. After some rest enjoy visiting places such as Kabalishwara Temple, Santhom Church, St. George Fort and Madras Museum. In the evening you are free for your engagements like shopping, dinner etc. Return to hotel and stay at night in hotel.
Day 2: Chennai – Vellore – Tirupathi
After breakfast proceeds to Vellur on the way visiting Golden temple, then proceeds to Tirupathi Sri Venkateswara Temple, the ancient and sacred temple located on the seventh peak, called Venkatachala of the Tirupathi Hill, and lies on the Southern banks of Sri Swami Push Karin River. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Tirupathi
Day 3: Tirupathi – Mahabalipuram
Early morning transfer to Tirumalai for Darshan afterward drive to Mahabalipuram to visit Arjuna Penance and shore temple and then check into hotel at Mahabalipuram. Stay overnight.
Day 4: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Pondicherry, an older French colony. On arrival, check in to your hotel. After some rest visit the Aurobindo Ashram, founded by a Bengali philosopher named Aurobindo in the early 20th century. In evening, you will have the option to visit Auroville or relax on the beach. Return to hotel and have a comfortable night stay.
Day 5: Pondicherry – Tanjavur
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Tanjavur. On arrival Tanjavur check into hotel. The famous world Heritage monument of Tanjore is the Bragatheeswarar Temple, built by Raja Chola King, with its lush green stretches of cultivated lands. Stay at night in hotel at Tanjavur.
Day 6: Tanjavur – Trichy
After breakfast proceed to Trichy, on arrival Trichy check in to your hotel. Afternoon go for visiting Rock Fort Temple, situated on the banks of the Kaveri river, also visiting Jambukeshwar temple, Mariamman Temple, Sri Ragna Swami Temple etc. Return to hotel and stay at night in the hotel
Day 7: Trichy – Madurai
After breakfast proceed to Madurai, known as the Nectar city, is the oldest city in Tamilnadu. On arrival Madurai check into hotel. Afternoon enjoy city sightseeing of Madurai covering Meenakshi Amman Temple and Thiruparakundram Murugan Temple. Return to hotel overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Madurai to Rameshwaram– (157kms)
After breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram, Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Kothandaraswamy Temple and Dhanushkodi & Adam’s Bridge. In the evening check into hotel at Rameshwaram and Overnight stay in Rameshwaram
Day 9: Rameshwaram – Madurai
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Madurai. Enroute visit Alagar Koil and Pazhamudir Sholai. In the evening enjoy light and show at Thirumalai Naykar Palace. Later check into hotel and stay at night at Madurai.
Day 10: Madurai – Kanyakumari
After breakfast proceeds for sightseeing, visiting Kumari Amman Temple located at the meeting of the three oceans – the Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. Originally built by Pandyas, it was expanded later by Nayaks. Afterwards visit to Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam. In the evening check into the hotel and stay at night in hotel at Kanyakumari.
Day 11: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum
Early morning view sunrise and after breakfast proceed to Trivandrum. Enroute visit Sucheendram temple, Padmanabhapuram Palace. On arrival Trivandrum drop at Railway station /Airport.
Hotel accommodation on a twin sharing basis.
Breakfast as per hotels’ menu.
All transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary in a non air-conditioned vehicle.
All toll tax, parking fees and driver’s allowances.
All applicable hotel taxes.
Anything not mentioned under ‘Package Inclusions’
All personal expenses, optional tours and extra meals.
Camera fees, alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and starters.
Vehicle service on leisure days for sightseeing not included in the itinerary.
Medical and travel insurance.
For all the services contracted, minimum 10% advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid before 30 days from commencement of the services. However Festal Tours have right to amend advance amount and payment of balance amount and time of payment
In the event of cancellation of tour / services due to any reason/s we must be informed of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Total Package cost
45 days prior to arrival: 15% of the Total Package cost
15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Total Package cost
07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Total Package cost
Less than 7 days from start of service or No Show: No Refund
Some cancellation and refund policies are out of our tender:
Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy
Train tickets cancellations will follow the Railway’s policy
Flight tickets cancellations will follow the airlines company policy
In case of Special Trains Journeys and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).
In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
Our Liabilities & Limitations:
Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
Law & Jurisdiction
For all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by Festal Tours, will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of Bilaspur (CG).
